Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for September – Allen, TX
Sales fall but sale prices continue to increase.
Sales of single family homes fell by 30.7% in September. Pending sales dropped 40%. The median sales price increased 16.3% as compared to last September. The average sales price was up 11.2%. The ratio of origianl list price to sales price was 95.5%. New listings declined 15.4% but the active listingscame in with a 87.1% rise. The large percentage increase in active listings is a little deceveing because there is only a 1.7 months supply of homes for sale. 6 months is considered a balanced market.
