Sharp climb in inventory
Homw sales fell 29.5% year over year. Pending sales declined 16.2%. The median sales pricejumprd up 22.1% while the average sales price rose 22%. Buyers paid 100.8% of the original asking price. That’s a 5.6% droop. listings dropped 3.8%. With the drop off in sales and pending sales, the active listings increased 78% taking the months of inventory to 2.5 months. That’s atill short of the 6 months comsidered a balanced market.
