The local real estate market is driven by many external factors and fluctuates in relatively short periods of time. We’ve certainly seen that over the past year. These fluctuations can temporarily stall buying and selling activity, but eventually “wait and see” becomes “go and do.”
What we’re currently seeing is buyers coming off the sidelines and moving ahead with purchasing decisions. They are also making peace with higher – though still relatively low – mortgage rates and taking advantage of discounts and buydowns.
All in all, it’s still a good time to buy or sell, especially in this part of the state and country.
If I can answer any questions or talk you through any thoughts you’re entertaining, I’d love to be of assistance!
