Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for January – Allen, TX
Lots of competition for homes in Allen.
Sales of existing homes declined by 31% and pending sales dropped 20% as buyers had a hard time dur to low inventory. The average sales price increased 26% while the median sales price came in with a 31% rise compared to last January. New listings were no help to supply off by 22%. The number of active listing were 22% lower. Months of inventory fell to 0.2 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market.
