Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December – Rentals

Leases were off by 3% in December. Pending leases declined by 4%. The average rental rate jumped 14% compared to last December. Median rate increased 14%. New listings were flat while the number of active listings dropped 10%.

Leased: 2,679

Average Rate: $2,155

Median Rate: 2,000

New Listings: 3,156

Active Listings: 3,413
