Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December – Plano, TX

Sales were down due to extremely low inventory

Sales were down 18% in December. Pending sales dropped 6%. The average sales price rose 13% while the median sales price climbed 17 % as buyers were having to move up in price to find that dream home. New listing were no help off by 11%. Active listings fell 55% compared to last December. The months of inventory now stands at 0.2 months. I have never seen this number this low!

Sales: 253

Average Sales Price: $536,950

Median Sales Price: $457,600

New Listings:226

Active Listings: 69

Months of Inventory: 0.2 months
