Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December – Carrollton/ Farmers Branch
Buyers were scooping up home in December!!
Home sales fell by 4% but pending sales increased by 11%. The average sale price jumped 17% while the median sales price came in 16% higher than last December. We did see a nice 16% rise in the number of new listing, but with all the sales active listings came in down 36%. The months of inventory now stands at 0.4 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market. We are extremely tilted to the seller side.
