Sales down with very low inventory

Sales fell 11% compared to last October. Pending sales however rose 2%. The average sales price increased 10% while the median sales price climbed 19% as buyers were forced to move into higher price ranges to find that dream home. New listings were no help down 13%. Active listings came in 49% down. The months of inventory now stands at 0.5 months.
