Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for August – Frisco, TX
Prices up sharply as supply declines.
Single family home sales fell 8% in august as compared to last August. Pending sales also declined 8%. The average Sales Price jumped up 30% while the median sales price climbed 32%. Buyers were buying prosperities in the upper price ranges. While new listings came in with a 7% rise, this wasn’t much help. Active listings dropped by 55% taking the months of inventory down to 0.6 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market and we are very far away from that number.
