Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for July – Plano, TX

Sales were slightly down. Prices continue to rise!

Single family home sales were only off by 5% in July and pending sales were flat. Sale prices continue to rise with the average sales price up 13% and the median sales price climbed 20%. Buyers were purchasing higher priced homes. There was a small 3% increase in the number of new listings. Active listings were down 39%. The months fo inventory now stand at 0.9 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market.

New Listings: 448

Active Listings: 277

Months of Inventory: 0.9 months
