Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for June – Garland, TX
Sale Prices continue to rise!
Sales of single family homes fell 7% compared to last year. Pending sales were off by 6% as buyers struggle with small inventories. The average sales price jumped 23% while the median sales price increased by 24%. Buyers are having to move up in price range to find that dream home. New listings dropped 2% and the active listings fell 49%. The months of inventory now stands at 0.6 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market.
