Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for June
Sales down. Prices up.

June saw a 3% decline in Home sales. Pending sales did even worse off by 19%. Buyers are having a tough time finding that dream home due to supply shortages. Other buyers have been priced out of the market and some have just decided to wait. The average sales price rose 28% while the median sales price increased 23%. New listings did rise a scant 1%. Not much help there. The number of active listings was 50% lower that last June. The months of inventory now stands at 0.9 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market.
