Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for May – Prosper, TX

Prosper has one of the lowest supply of homes in the area.

Buyers were out in full force. home sales rose 53% compared to last May. Pending sales did not fair that well as buyers ran out of home to by. Pending sales fell by 28%. The average sales price jumped 18% while the median sales price climbed 16%. Now the bad news if you are a buyer. New listings took a 24% decline and the active listings fell by 83%. The months of inventory now stands at 0.4 months!
