Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for March

Prices up sharply. Inventory down.

Single family homes sales rose 5% in March. Pending sales came in 16% higher than last March. The average sales price increased by 21% while the median sales price came in with a 16% rise. The problem with supply remains as new listings fell 10%. Active listings are 71% lower. The months of inventory now stands at 0.8 months. Buyers are facing very hard times!

Sales: 9,712

Average Sales Price: $392,928

Median Sales Price: $312,000

Pending Sales: 11,429

New Listings: 10,996

Active Listings: 6,086

Months of Inventory: 0.8
