Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for February – Prosper, TX

Home sale down. Prices up!

Single family home sales fell by 5% while pending sales were down 18% as compared to last February. The average sales price jumped 30%. Median sales price rose 26%. New listings did not help the supply shortage down 49%. Active listings fell 80% taking the months of inventory down to 0.4 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market. We are a very long way from that.
