Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December – Garland, TX
Home sales fell 3% but pending sales rose 27%. January should be a positive months for sales. The average sales price jumped 23% while the median sales price increased 17%. Buyers are having to move up to higher price propertied to find that dream home. New listings came in 6% higher than last December but with all the sales active listings fell by 62% thanking the months of inventory down to 0.6 months. This is a extremely low supply and buyers can expect stiff competition when making an offer.
