Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for May – Allen, TX
The COVID-19 virus effect on home sales showed up in the May numbers. Sales in the Allen Area fell 15%. That’s not as bad as some other Cities. Fortunate buyers were back in the market in May and pending sales rose 4%. The average sales price increased 2% while the median sales price fell 4%. The new listings came in down 15%. Active listings were off by 36%! The months of inventory declined to 2 months. With 6 months considered a balances market you can readily see the market ti titled to the seller side.
