Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for May – Carrollron/Farmers Branch
The virus took it’s toll with home sales in May down 31%. A number of areas saw pending sales rise but unfortunately this was not the case in Carrollton and Farmer Branch which saw pending sales decline 9%. The average sales price fell 2% while the median sales price sales price was off by 5%. Buyers will not find help with the new listings which were off by 25%. Active listings were even worse falling 326% and taking the months of inventory to 2.5 months
