Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for April – Garland TX
The covid19 Virus took the wind out of the sales in Garland during April. home sales declined 23% as compared to last April. Pending sales fell 3%. The average sales price increased 4% while the median sales price climbed 9%. Looks like the sales were concentrated in the upper price ranges. New listings fell 27% as sellers were hesitant to put their homes on the market. The number of active listings dropped 16% taking the months of inventory down to 1.4 months.Â
Buyers have returned to the market but with the small number of home to choose from we are starting to see multiple offers on the best homes. If you have been thinking that prices will be going down, you better thing again!
