Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for April – Richardson TX
As expected home sales took a hit in April down 14%. Pending sales saw a 36% decline. The average sales price rose 4% while the median sales price climbed 9%. Looks like we had more sales in the upper price ranges. New listings fell off a cliff down 40% as compared to last April. Active listings are 22% lower. The months of inventory now stands at 1.4 months. That makes it much harder for buyers to find that dream home!
Buyers are returning to the market. Over the past several weeks showing have dramatically increased as have montage application.
