Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for April – Carrollton/Farmers Branch
Home sales fell 26% in April compared to last year. Pending sales were off 27%. The average sales price declined 7% while the median sales price dropped 6%. new listings were off 17% and the active listings came in 25% lower. Months of inventory now stands at 1.3 months.
Buyers are in the market. Showing during the May 1 to May 9th time period are up 1.9% compared to 2019 and represent an increase of 71.3% since early April.
