Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for March – Richardson TX
We need to remember that the data in this report comes from properties contracted for in January and February. We will nor begin to see the effects of the COVID-19 virus until the April numbers.
Sales were up 45% in March as compared to last March. The average sales price fell 8% while the median sales price was down 6%. Pending sales increased 2%. Most other areas that I report on saw negative pending sales numbers The number of new listings fell 18% and the active listings dropped 24%. The months of inventory is now at 1.4 months. Buyers going forward will have a short supply to choose form.
