How much house can you buy for $300,000 in Dallas’s Northern Suburbs?
I saw an article last week that showed what you can buy in 10 cities around the U.S. for $300,000 based on the average square foot price. Thought it might be interesting to see what you could buy in the northern suburbs of Dallas and this is what I found.
Richardson – $153 per S.F. = 1960 S. F
Plano – $149 per S. F. = 2,013 S. F
Carrollton/Farmers Branch – $148 per S. F = 2,027 S. F.
Garland – $119 per S. F. = 2,521 S. F.
Wylie – $125 per S. F. = 2,400 S. F
Allen – $139 per S. F. = 2,158 S. F
McKinney – $139 per S. F. = 2,158 S. F.
Frisco – $146 per S. F. = 2,054 S. F.
Prosper – $149 per S. F. = 2,013 S. F.
Celina – $135 per S. F. = 2,222
Of course, what you actually pay for a home will depend on location and condition which can vary greatly within any city.
