Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for September – Far North Dallas

Buyers were out if full force in Far north Dallas in September. Home sales jumped 39% as compared to last September. Pending sales did decline 4%. Have to wait and see if that trend continues in October. The average sales price did decline 7% while the median sales price rose 5%. That’s indicative of more sales in the upper price range. New listings fell 3%. Active listings rose 3% above last Septembers level. The months of inventory now stands at 3.7 months. A little over half way to a balanced market.
