Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for February – Garland TX

Buyers were not finding homes to purchase in Garland during February. Homes sale fell 17%. Pending sales however rose 8% so there is hope for March. The average sales price eked out a 1% increase as did the median sales number. New listings also showed a 1% increase. Active listings jumped 67%. As in other areas we must remember that this is a comparison to last February when listings were very low. The months of inventory tell the real story and it is at 1.6 months. Really not much out there to choose from.
