Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for September – North Dallas

As I mentioned Yesterday in my report, North Dallas was one of the areas that has positive sales for September. Sales were up 2%. However pending sales fell a whopping 51%. That;s certainly not good news for October. The average sales price rose 16% as compared to last September. Median sales price  was up 33%. We had a number of high dollar sales in September that pulled these averages up.

New listings declined 20% and active listings dropped 1%. This is really not helpful to buyers. The months of inventory was flat at 5.8 months.

Average Sales Price: $1,078,681

Median Sales Price: $995,000

Pending Sales: 35

New Listings: 96

Active Listings: 349

Months of Inventory: 5.8
