Every category was up in January!
Sales increased by 4% as compared to a year ago. The average sales price rose 4% while the median sales price was up by 9%. Pending sales to a big 31% jump so we can say that February will see positive sales numbers. A 30% rise in the new listings helped the active listings climb by 27%. However, these increases only managed to raise the months of inventory number to 1.3 months. A 6 month supply is traditionally considered a balanced market so you can see that we are tipped heavily to the Seller’s side.
