Single-Family:
Sales for the year were up by 6%. The average sales price increased 7% while the median sales price jumped 10%.Throughout the year we saw sales below $150,000 off by double digits while sales above $190,000 climb by double digits and contribute to the positive sales gain for the year.
The number of new listings rose 6% but the active listings at the end of December fell by 8%. compared to last December. As long as the number of active listings remains a negative number prices will continue to rise.
