
Basically, if you’re a buyer, the market is a little more in your favor. There’s more inventory available, and sellers are more open to negotiating. In fact, a good chunk of homes were selling for less than their original asking price. For sellers, it’s not a bad market by any means—you’re still getting a great price for your home—but you need to be more strategic with your pricing and be prepared for a slightly longer process. The days of putting a sign in the yard and having a bidding war by the end of the day seem to have cooled off.
