Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for August – Prosper, TX

Sales prices up sharply with declining sales

Sales fell by 16% compared to last august. Pending sales took even a bigger hit off 32%. That’s not a positive sign for September sales. Prices continued to rise with the average sales price up 28% and the median sale price climbing 30% as buyers are having to move up in price ranges to find that dream home. New listings didn’t help down 37%. The active listings fell by 72% taking the months of inventory down to 0.5 months.
