Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for August – Far North Dallas

Slight increase in sales. Prices up sharply!

Single family home sales rose a slight 2% but pending sales dropped 2%. The average sales price increased by 15% while the median sales price rose 20% as buyers were after higher priced homes. New listings fell 14%. Active listings dropped by 41% taking the months of inventory down to 1.0 months. Buyers going forward will find few homes to choose from.
