Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December

Home sales rose 18% compared to last December. Pending sales climber 15% so we can anticipate that January will be a positive month.

The average sales price increased 12% while the median sales price was up by 9%. New listing showed a 3% gain but with all the sales , the active listings fell 56% and took the months of inventory down to 0.9 months.

I have never seen inventory levels this low and it is creating sever problems for buyers trying to find that dream home.
