Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for October – Allen, TX

Single Family home sales jumped 36$ in October compared to last year. The pending sales number came in with a 42% rise! Average sales price climbed 23% while the median sales price increased 18%. This increases in part were caused by buyers moving up in the price points. Now the bad news if you are a buyer. New listings were flat and the active listings fell 73% taking the months of inventory down to 0.7 months. It’s just very hard for buyers in this market.
