No slowdown in sales in the Dallas Area!

Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for October

Single-Family home sales came in 25% higher than last October. Pending sales increased 20% so we can anticipate a positive months in November. The average sales price increased 15% while the median sales price rose 12%. Now for the bad news if you are a buyer. New listings declined 5% and with all the sales the number of active listings fell by 50%. The months of inventory now stands at 1.3 months.

Median Sales Price: $296,000

Pending Sales: 11,046

New Listings: 10,803

Active Listings: 12,600

Months of Inventory: 1.3
