Dallas Area Residential Sales Report to September – McKinney, TX
September saw a 17% increase in home sales compared to last year. Pending sales jumped up 33%. The average sales price climbed 11% while the medina sales price rose 14%. Looks like a lot of the sales were in the upper price ranges. New listings increased a healthy 21% but that was not enough to keep up with the sales so the number of active listings fell by 54%. The months of inventor now stands at 1 month. With this low level of supply buyers will have a hard time finding that dream home and when they do will face stiff competition for it.
