Dallas Area Residential Sale Report for August – Garland TX

Homes sales rose 8% in Garland compared to last year. The real story is the number of pending sales which climbed a whopping 60%. looks like September will be a big month for closings! The average sales price increased 5% as did the median sales price. New listings fell  9% while the number of active listings crashed 56% taking the months of inventory down to .9 months. This extremely low supply will cause problems for buyers as they compete with other buyers for that dream home.
