This are has had low inventories and I guess that buyers were having a hard time finding something to buy because home sales fell 9% as compared to last August. Pending sales were a little better up 5%. The average sales price rose 4% while the median sales price came in with am 8% increase.
Buyers will not get any help from the number of new listings. They were off by 20% and the active listings fell 46% taking the months of inventory to 1.2 months.
