Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for July – Plano, TX

Home sales rose 19% in Plano as compared to last July. Pending sales were up 23% so August is looking good. The average sale price increased 8% while the median sales price came in 6% higher. New listings fell 2% but with all the sales and pending sales the active listings declined by 48% taking the months of inventory down to 1.7 months. This very low supply will have the effect of making it more difficult for buyers.
