Dallas Area Residential Sales Report to July – Far North Dallas

The Far North Dallas Area was popular with buyers in July. Home sale rose 26% compared to last July. Pending Sales did even better rising 36%. We can anticipate that August sales will be strong. The average sale price increased 29% while the median sales price jumped 15%. These numbers are an anomaly and are caused by a number of high dollar sales that that pulled the averages up. There was a spike upwards in the number of new listings of 20%. However, it did not help the number of active listings which declined 41% and took the months of inventory down to 2.5 months.
