Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for June – Richardson, TX

Home Sales were up 4% as compared to last year. However, pending sales shot up 30%. The average sales price rose 2% while median sale price climbed 3%. Now to the problem. New listings fell 3% but with all the pending sales the number of active listings declined by 45% taking the months of inventory down to 1.3 months. In the months ahead buyers will be having a difficult time finding that dream home and will be competing with other buyers for the best properties.
