Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for March – McKinney, TX

Buyers were not out in March in the McKinney area. home sales declined 7%. The average sales price rose 3% while the median sales price came in flat. New lsitings dropped 18%. Active listings fell 32%. The months of inventory is now at 3.2 months. supply is getting short and this is causing problems for buyers to fine that dream home.

We will nor begin to see the full effects on real estate from the COVID-19 virus until we get the April sales but pending sales give us a forward look and in McKinney they we down 9%.

Median Sales Price: $336,260

Pending Sales: 263

New Listings: 290

Active Listings: 501

Months of Inventory: 2.1
