Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for March – Allen, TX

Buyers were gobbling up homes in March. Home sales jumped 27% compared to last March. The average sales price did fall 1% and the median sales price was also down 1%. New lisitngs took a 24% hit. Active listing declined 23% taking the months of inventory down to 1.9 months.

We will not see the effects of the COVID-19 virus until the April sales number come out but the pending sales number can give us a snapshot of what may be to come and they were down 23%.

Median Sales Price: $362,000

Pending Sales: 112

New Listings: 147

Active Listings: 223

Months of Inventory: 1.9
