Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for March – Wylie, TX

Well buyers were not here in March. Home sales declined 14% as compared to last March. The average sales price rose 1%. median sales price increased 2%. The number of new listings dropped 14% while the active listings took a 28% hit. Months of inventory is now at 1.6 months. With falling inventory, buyer will have a hard time finding that dream home.

We do need to remenber that these numbers represent sales that were contracted for in January and February. We will not see the effects of the CORVID-19 Virus until we get the April numbers..

For a look at what may be to come, pending sales declined 12%.

Sales: 100

Average Sales Price: $328,805

Median Sales Price: $325,000

Pending Sales: 111

New Listings: 136

Active Listings: 173

Months of Inventory: 1.6
