Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for February – McKinney TX
The McKinney market eked out a 2% gain in home sales in February. Pending sales did better with a 10% gain. The average sales price rose 3% while the median sales price rose 6%. Looks like we had a few more sales in the upper price ranges than normal. Now the bad news if you are a buyer. New listings declined 3% but the number of active listings fell 26% taking the months of inventory down to 2.2 months. Buyers will be having a had time finding that dream home.
