Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for February – Far North Dallas

Wow! Buyers were snapping up Far North Dallas homes in February. Home sales jumped up 32% compared to last February. Pending sales did not keep up however coming in down 4%. Not sure what that will mean for March.
The average sales price fell 2% but the median sales price rose 16%. Looks like a number of the sales were concentrated in the upper price ranges.
New listings declined 21% and the active listings fell 29%. The months of inventory now stands at 2 months. this is not good news if you are a buyer.
