Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for January – Celina TX

Please remember that the numbers reported below are comparisons to January 29019 when sales were low due to high interest rates.

Homes sales rose 126%! Pending sales were up 148%. February numbers will also be a lot higher. The average sales price was down 14%. Median sales price declined 16%. This might have had something to do with the extremely high sales numbers as builders discounted homes at the end of the year. New listings gained 23% but the number of active listings fell 35% taking the months of inventory down to 3.3 months.
