Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for January – Plano TX

Home were being snapped up in Plano. Home sales rose 16% in January as compared to last year at this time. Pending sales did even better up 19%. The average sales price climbed 17% while the median sales price increased 11%.  New listings were 1% higher but with all the sales and pending sales the active listings declined 20%! The months of inventory now stands at 1.6 months. That’s a very low number and will make it much harder for buyers to find a home.
