Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December – Richardson TX

Home sales in Richardson fell 6% in December. Pending sales came in flat. The average sales price was up 9% as was the median sales price. New listings dropped 10% but the number of active listings rose 2% as compared to last December. Months of inventory now stands at 1.6 months. this is very low when 6 months is considered a balanced market. One is the of the main drivers in the lower sales number is the very low inventory. Buyers are just having a very hard time finding their dream home!
