Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December

Home sales were very god in December up 15%! Pending sales did even better rising 18%. Looks like we will have a very positive start to the year. The average sales price came in up 6% while the median sales price rose 5%. New listing climbed 5% but with the sales and pending sales numbers the number of active listings fell 4%. That’s not good news if you are a buyer. The months of inventory now stands at 2.3 months.

Average Sales Price: $328,267

Median Sales Price: 270,000

Pending Sales: 7,188

New Listings: 6,971

Active Listings: 20,535

Months of Inventory: 2.3
