Dallas Area Residential sales Report for September – Richardson TX

Home buyers really liked the Richardson area in September! Sales were up a whopping 28% as compared to last September. Pending sales did not do as well but showed a nice 5% gain. The average sales price increased 3% while the median sales price jumped 7%. Looks like buyers were going after the higher priced properties. New listings rose 3%. The number of active listings was 17% higher than this time last year. Months of inventory is now at 2.5 months. 6 months id considered a balanced market.
